a very quick side-trip to a wooded community north of houston resulted in a quick visit with jesse and his very kind wife.
jesse was part of the gang at wood center, the student union on the uaf campus. thanks, to no small part to jesse i was able to work as a student employee, which was needed to pay for tuition, etc. in addition to that, jesse was a good friend who encouraged all those around him.
we had lunch at the "county line", yeeee-haaaa! (just like being in texas....oh, wait, we were in texas....)
