Namadgi National Park

by BDK

Namadgi national park in new south wales. the whole purpose to going to Namadgi was to see kangaroos. i had seen a couple prior to the visit that were “sleeping” along the side of the road but i wanted to see some not so sedentary. Namadgi was supposed to be chockablock full with them. i walked and walked and saw nothing. then i suddenly realized that something was moving in the grass. looking about i found myself surrounded by the things.

once they saw me they all started standing up and kept on eye on me.
well, most all of them did.
a little fuzzy guy.
this guy was quite large and paid very close attention to me.
a mom and her joey. too bad i chopped her head in this photo.
