working by the general proposition that one can never have too many images of a stromatolite those images are presented below in their full and complete glory with no additional comment—wouldn’t want to distract you with mere words. to quote the lonely planet guide to australia, “warning! they look and act, just like rocks.”

just a quick side note, it was 106 degrees, in the shade. i don't know how hot it was in the sun, only that it was a good deal hotter.
