I spent 9 days going from Darwin to Broome. Including traveling the Gibb River Road. I joined a tour group for this journey as it included several river crossings sans bridges. It would also have required a 4WD rental. So, for a few dollars more per day I joined an all inclusive tour.
The trip involved hiking, canyoning, swimming, caving and a little bit of climbing. All at 90 to 110 degrees.
