I did some tramping in Glasshouse Mtns NP. Pics below are from one such. It was a Sunday and there were a bunch of people on the trail. So, not very secluded. The mountains (hills) are remnants of volcanoes. When Captain Cook, same guy the Alaska’s Cook Inlet is named after, first saw the mountains (hills) from his ship they reminded him of the glasshouse chimneys of where he hailed from back in jolly old England.
