I left New Zealand on the 29th. Going to NZ I was able to upgrade to business class for a very reasonable fee. However, I wasn’t afforded a similar deal for the return leg. But! For a less than three hour flight—hot towel to freshen up, free toys for little kids, pillow, excellent meal consisting of salmon, a salad, a dessert, bun and butter, chocolate square, and, free booze with dinner. That was coach service! Emirates Airlines. USA air travel really sucks in comparison to several foreign carriers.
