I’ve been mostly staying at airbnb places rather than hotels. But the past couple days have been at a hotel. Found these items I’ve never seen in a hotel before. A smoke hood for escaping a fire. And, really odd, a descender for rappelling out the window in the event of no fire escape access. Even a bolt by the window to clip onto. I’m on the 8th floor, so that would be a nearly 100′ rappel. Don’t know if this is common thing in Korea or not.
