AU was hot. Unseasonably hot. NZ? Lower 60s at night, 70s during the day. So far.
Rat traps made by kids. Rats and stoats (weasels) are death to much of the native wildlife, including the Kiwibird. So, there is a concerted effort to rid the countryside of those introduced mammals.
