The Road

Was in good shape. Paved the entire way. But, at times, most of the times, the exposure was quite large. Guardrails were virtually nonexistent and the drops varied from hundreds of feet to thousands. I wasn’t attempting to keep count, but there dozens of roadside crosses/memorials at place folks went for a tumble.
