Accommodations on the island run throughout a pretty wide selection. My place was pricey by my standards at about $125 per night.
But, the room was clean(ish), the hotel staff were great, and, it came with a built in Room Gecko — “Cindy”.
On the downside it was a distance from the town’s center, had absolutely crappy Wifi, and, no AC and no screened windows/doors. Given that the island’s mosquitoes carry both Denge Fever and Zika, open doors and windows weren’t an option.
