I took a walk to find tour companies for the next three days. The one I wanted was fully booked. I’d tried to book online, but that was a waste of electrons. So, got booked with Choice #2.
Then looked for lunch. Found a pizza place and ordered the spaghetti and a coke. The pasta was good, but I forgot to ask for the sauce on the side. I don’t know why restaurants think they need to drown pasta. The coke was a mistake.
This morning I started again with the high altitude meds. Although San Pedro is only at 7,900′, my trips will take me 12,000. One of the side effects of Acetazolamide is that carbonated drinks taste weird.
On the way back I came across, a parade! If you listen closely you’ll hear, “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “Yellow Submarine”.
