I was taxing from the airport to the hotel yesterday and from about a half a mile away I saw a distinct profile of what appeared to be a PT Boat. Today, I walked over and sure enough it’s a retired PT Boat. A Higgins boat. What are the odds?

So cool!
Do I see a gun on the forward deck of this PT boat? Could that be an original gun that dad shot?
There are two 40mm guns mounted on this boat. One fore and one aft. On PT boats during WW2 only one would have been mounted aft. It’s the one we have a pic of Roberta on. So, yes, same kind of gun as he used, but aft on the boat. The Argentines heavily modified the original armament to suit their needs.
