The Band Elwood, The Band! (tBEtB! i)

First concert concert of RT 22-23. Some Mendelssohn and Humperdinck (no, not that Humperdinck).

Old time concert hall. Solid wooden seats, rosewood maybe? Rows designated by Roman numerals — some confused patrons.

Members of the band on stage warming up. Initial acoustics impression? Good. Perhaps a little muted? High end seems rolled off some. We’ll see once the rest of the band and audience shows.

I appear to be the only one in an REI t-shirt and olive drab cargo pants this Friday evening. In fact, only t-shirter in sight.

They have a GONG to call people to their seats. A GONG! I need to ask someone if it’s live or a recording.
