Chambered tBE,tB

Off to the Liszt Academy for some chamber music. Very good except for some costuming oddness.

Pretty good acoustics:

With the exception of the harpsichord. The harpsichord is probably the most chambered of chamber instruments. Virtually impossible to hear when other instruments are playing unless you are actually in a small chamber. They really need to be mic’ed in settings like this:

Two amusing costumes. The conductor was wearing balloon pants and I mean BALLOON pants. The singer who was good was wearing, well, this wedding cake oddness. I suppose there was a reason…
