Got a rental car to drive the 200+ miles from the IST airport to the place where Churchill’s greatest blunder occurred during WW 1.
Drivers by and large were OK. Truck drivers, eh, not so much at times. I don’t know why but many many trucks would slide over from the traffic lane into the breakdown lane. Then wander back to the traffic lane.
Saw several of these rigs hauling straw/hay. The pic doesn’t do justice to how far they had the load cantilevered out. At least 50% of the width of the truck.

Much of the road was this fabulous Super Slab. Reminded me of the road between Amritsar and Delhi. A beautiful highway with virtually no one on it.
