Pups!

Like many places there are community dogs all over Istanbul. All the ones I’ve seen are very well looked after by people in the neighborhood — chubby at the very least. They are all pretty large pups. Many, perhaps all, have ear tags. I assume they’ve been fixed.

There’s a Watsons in Taksim Square. Two of the Square’s mutts like to hang out in it when it’s at all chilly outside. Everyone, employees/patrons, just ignores them and the dogs mostly sleep.
