On the docket for tonight was to be Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis — his mass. It’s supposed to be very good. I’m pretty certain that I’ve never heard it live, not sure about hearing it Memorex. But, online I keep seeing that it was canceled a couple of times for whatever reasons. In theory it’s being replaced by his 1st and 5th symphonies. Which would be great as I can’t remember the last time I heard the 5th live. (I hesitate to say it was decades ago when the Fairbanks Symphony butchered it…). Stay tuned for the true tune!

Had a little old lady sitting next to me. Little old ladies can be problematic — they are always fiddling with something. This gal, however, was a church mouse.
