ChiCom Cops — China has installed cops, sometimes with a country’s permission, sometimes without, in a number of places. Ostensibly they are to help tourists. It’s cover. Their real job is to keep overseas students and expats in line by threatening them or their families. Saw three of them by the Hagia Sophie. These two, one male one female in blue attire, were at Taksim Square:
