Remember the scene in Ghandi where the British open fire on an unarmed crowd? Happened here in Amritsar.
They’ve made something of a monument to those killed and wounded, somewhere between 1,000 to 1,500.

The narrow passageway that the Brits used to gain access. They had to leave two armored cars with machine guns outside because the passageway was too narrow. When asked if he would have used the machine guns on the unarmed crowd of men, women and children the Brit in charge said he would have.
