Checkpoint Charlie is best avoided. Took the obligatory pics and immediately got back on the U-Bahn. Or, one could stay and take advantage of the CC Museum, the CC Passport Stamps, the CC McDonalds, and, the CC Roma–when dealing with gypsies it’s best to ignore them entirely, a backward wave of the hand, as if shooing away flies, also works well.
