Slyvie

arrived in cloudy calgary. sylvie and monty hosted me a weekend, we had a great time, went to a poetry “bash”, which was most disappointing as we never got a chance to bash a single poet. instead we had to sit and listen to them, yech, no bashing… on the bright side, we did play “plane crash survivor”. the following day we attended a canadian football game. it was, a somewhat surreal experience, canadian football that is. they have the STRANGEST rules, all of which seem designed to insure that no team actually wins, which as it turned out, is exactly what happened, a tie — all canadians were happy.
