swung by muir woods on the way to SF. one has to pay to look at the trees. lots of the people there to do so, blame ken burns i suppose. i asked the fellow if he could guarantee that i’d see trees, took him a minute but he finally came back with, “yes, the park service planted some just the other day”. nice place, too many people.
