Crikey!

I went to the Australia Zoo. It’s the place created by the Croc Hunter Steve Irwin. (The late Steve Irwin, good with crocs, not so much with sting rays..) The only reason I wanted to go there was to see Darwin’s tortoise. Reputed to have been collected by Charles Darwin during his journey on the HMS Beagle.

Some pics below. You’ll notice an absence of tortoise photos. That’s because the damn thing died 6 years ago! $59 for an adult entry ticket and no Darwin tortoise!

But! On the bright side, free wifi.
