Which Way?

One tramp was on a 1 mile circuit. As I was about to start a couple arrived at a fork in the trail. The woman seemed confused and the guy seemed confused because she was confused. They wanted to know the direction to the car park. I pointed the way. I also refrained from pointing to the signs, pic below, which were right where we were standing.
