Saw a little sign on the highway about a historic WW 2 bomb site. So, made the turn…

I figure it was a lost Japanese “Betty” bomber that was looking to jettison it’s bomb load. Saw a couple lights and figured, “Good enough”. (There is nothing around this location except farm fields and the occasional farm house. I doubt there was much more here in 1942.)
