Its an odd thing. Nearly every celebration, in marble, stone, steel, name, title, brick and gilding, is dedicated to the proposition that all men are not created equal—The Monarchy is everywhere. Save the rare war memorial, there is virtually no notion that this country and its laws were built by anyone other than some royal asshole or another.
