At St. Sulpice for Handel’s Messiah. Pretty poor acoustics, but it’s a church not a concert hall. Still, a little staging would make a big difference. Many many mistakes—missed notes and the occasional screech coming from someplace. Still, worth the effort.
For some odd reason, when I was making my way to my seat I was stopped at least 4 times by someone asking to see my ticket. Very helpful folks here; or, perhaps, it was my REI cargo pants…
