The apartment has a single A/C unit located in the master bedroom. For some unknown reason the drain for that A/C unit dumped into the adjoining bathroom. Which was fine except the bathroom’s floor drain is located diagonally across the room. So, whenever the A/C is turned on there’s a river that runs across the bathroom floor.
A/C drain, short blue pipe coming from out of the wall, and floor drain, square silver item on other side of room:

New and improved! $2.50 (three 90 degree elbows and a 12′ piece of 1/2″ PVC pipe) later there’s now a pipe connecting the A/C drain to the floor drain:
