As mentioned I had to buy a gpsnav when I thought my original plan went awry. (Turns out not to have been the case.) I opted for the $30 cheaper Tom-Tom rather than the Garmin. Mistake. Garmin is a far better system.
Nonetheless, the Tom-Tom does have a flaw in its programming that actually yields some interesting results. It’ll take you on the tiniest of roads whilst trying to save you 2 miles in a 200 mile drive.
Thus, it was I traveled on a back road with virtually no other traffics, but a road that for many many miles was festooned with “art.”
