Arrived in Lima. Transfer to the Lima Holiday Inn was smooth. Got into my room about 11pm. Zombied.
Slept till 930am. Went downstairs for breakfast. Got late checkout for 2pm. Went back upstairs and slept until 12:30pm. Debated going into town as opposed to staying another night at the HI. Already had the room booked in town. So, decided to head there.
Took the “Airport Express” bus. About an hour to go 13 miles. $8 one way.
Got altitude sickness pills, and enough Peruvian Soles to cover taxi rides in Cusco.
