I’m pretty much in the heart of the tourist district — the Old Town. They do a good job of keeping it clean and safe. The trash gets put out at night, the dogs tear into the plastic bags, and, by morning someone has cleaned it all up.
A good presence of tourist police and police police. The hawkers and touts are abundant, but not aggressive. A “gracious no” sends them away.
