new zealand is australia’s canada, except that at times, the kiwis are more canadian than the canadians.

Likes:
Friendly folks
Birds everywhere
NZ kingfisher
General lack of bugs, most windows don’t even have screens
Holiday Parks, clean and reasonably priced
Golden kiwi fruit
Meat pies
Food without added sugar (corn syrup)
Great roads — i never saw a pothole.
No tipping in restaurants, etc.
Mailboxes, no apparent design requirements, thus great variety
Butcher shops everywhere.

Not So Much Likes:
Nutty drivers, in that they seldom slow down for bicycles and pedestrians are on their own!
Sand flys
Lack of free wireless
Lack of shoulders on road
Double spigots a great water waster
