This guy was at Narita Airport. But, you’ll also see them in local police substations and train stations, etc.

Between innings the security guard types come around and announce…something. I think it’s a warning to watch out for balls and bats.

The “Get your beer here!” guys are also different than in the States.

People lineup ahead of time for standing room seats. They tape paper on the ground to hold their spots or they actually sit there. This is six hours before the game!

They even have animated BB television.

Not this year. Heading to Hokkaido. I’ll fly HKG to Tokyo, over night there, then up to Sapporo.

Stayed at a new hotel in HKG. OK place. Clean, small. On the Mainland side. Got upgraded to a room with, I guess, a better view. Pastel HKG:
