The Italians are NUTS. They are LOUD and they are PUSHY; but, they do it all in such a polite and caring way. Its really weird.
You don’t know what fun is until you ridden the circumvesuviana—the narrow gauge train that runs to and from Napoli, around the base of Mount Vesuvius, and onwards to Sorrento.
I first saw the behavior in Sorrento. Seemed odd. But, nothing compared to what i later found in Paris.

View from the hotel room. Vesuvius across the bay with Napoli at its foot. Hotel was great, ~$50 a night with breakfast. Breakfast was outstanding—italian meats, and sweets, and the best scrambled eggs i've ever had.
