Friendly Subway!

I’ve had several people just strike up a conversation with me on the metro. Usually older folks. I’m not sure if they are just practicing their English or what. Today I ran into a guy who’d been in the army (mandatory service here), been to NYC and LA. Now retired. Very pleasant fellow.
