Romanian Athenaeum —
The local band with pieces by Prokofiev and Rocky. The Prokofiev 2nd piano concerto was very good. The symphony by Rocky also good, but not download worthy.
The hall was built in the late 19th Century. Online you’ll find some, mostly tourist like sites, proclaiming its great acoustics. I thought them borderline terrible. A very muddy sound and some instruments barely even audible. It’s all rather subjective.
Have noticed that like the Hungarians folks here will seat jump — moving to better seats if they seem open.
